Politic for People’s Prosper

Politics, as defined by the dictionary, means the activity associated by the government of a country. So in simpler words, politics is something that a country relies on. The political issues of a country determines wether the country and its people is well or not.
There are so many political issues nowadays, some which includes corruption, disagreements in laws and etcetera. Some people might think that political issues does not affect us majorly, but it actually does.

For example, if the corruption of a government member somehow traces back to the tax that citizens play, there is a huge possibility of it going viral in the nation. That could lead to riots by citizens and it would also make a horrible image of our country’s government.

Another example is the prosperity of the people. A citizen of a country can only be happy and prosper if the government does a good job of taking care of the country itself. When the politics of a country is bad, it is guaranteed that the people will not be satisfied, let along happy.

The political situation of a country all depends on the government, but we have to realize that it is also the fault of the people. A citizens of a country is who forms a government. We gave our trust on some people, and when they have to be responsible of their newly founded responsibilities, we too have to be responsible of our choices.

So in order to avoid more political issues and errors in the future, there are a few steps that we can do.

First of all, we have to choose wisely. For example, in electing a president, we have to now the candidates and we have to choose the best for our country. We have to know their background and experience and not just choose them because of their promises and media-image. In an election, we are going to hand our country’s faith to someone and the future of our country will be in their hand. Therefore, we have to choose very wisely and not just rely on the image media has gave to that person.

Second, we must stop the spreading of hoax and lies, especially when it concerns the government. By doing this, we can be covering up an even bigger issue that should be discussed. For example, if the media makes up a lie about a guy in the government who’s doing drug, it might be a plot to cover up the fact that someone else is corrupting money. We need to clear off the lies so we can see the truth clearly.

Lastly and the most simple thing we can do is to study. We, as the next generation, must study hard and learn about world issues more so that we can improve our government and fix all the political errors that the government in the present has made. We have to prepare it now so we can make it all better in the future.

In conclusion, our government is not perfect and political issues will always exist. But maybe, if we can take action now, we can prevent it from happening even more in the future.
